Biodegradation of quinalphos by gram negative bacteria Pantoea agglomerans and Acinetobacter sp. dcm5A

چکیده
Five bacterial strains for biodegradation study were initially isolated from quinalphos exposed soil cotton field of Indian Agricultural Research Institute, India by Serial dilution and enrichment technique. Amongst them, two Pantoea agglomerans Acinetobacter sp. dcm5A to different concentrations (50-250 ppm, parts per million) evaluate their tolerance the optimum concentration supported growth. Growth kinetics isolates was studied means optical density culture media (150 rpm, rotation minute) at 30oC 15 days. The optimal growth 100 while 200 ppm. Bacterial degraded 60% 79.7% respectively in 7 days incubation 100% degradation both observed after 13 incubation.

Nanomaterials are increasingly used to the targeting of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as an alternative to antibiotics. Bacterial infections are a major cause of chronic infections and mortality. People requirement for new materials for pathogenic bacteria treatment. It seems that nanomaterial-based strategies can be resolving this problem. In this research, improved antibacterial na...

The aim of this study was to evaluate 54 lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains isolated from meat, fermented vegetables and dairy products for their capacity to produce antimicrobial activities against several bacteria and fungi. The strain designed TN635 has been selected for advanced studies. The supernatant culture of this strain inhibits the growth of all tested pathogenic including the four G...
متن کاملLysis of gram-negative bacteria by serum.
The antibacterial property of serum, first reported by Nuttall in 1888, has attracted many investigators and an extensive literature has accumulated. The sera of most mammals tested have been found to possess bactericidal activity, but a notable exception is the mouse, whose serum, apparently through lack of complement, is unable to kill any of a number of bacterial strains which are sensitive ...
